Early History
Our Founder
After his father fell ill, Mike Elayouti began his career in auto body at the young age of 8 in order to support his family. His love of the trade encouraged him to make a name for himself. In little time Mike managed to work and set up automotive shops in Asia, Africa & Europe. Yet, although he began to make a name for himself war in Lebanon forced him to leave his home to ensure his family’s safety. Mike arrived in Ottawa on April 26, 1981 and has fallen in love with Canada ever since. Mike worked day and night in order to earn the money he needed to rebuild his family’s life and it wasn’t long before his talents were discovered and in high demand across Ottawa.
The Start
Triole Auto Was Born
Mike would soon open his own body shop on Belfast Road and quickly flourished there by building great relationships with clients and making lifelong friendships within the industry. Yet, Mike soon outgrew this shop and in 1991 Mike purchased his first commercial property, the popular Corvette City body shop on 1357 Triole Street. The business grew very successful and soon Mike would open a second-branch, Ayouti Auto Sales. In 1999 Mike’s sons Kasey, Sam and Will introduced full auto service into their father’s business adding a vital dimension to the business. Thus, Triole Auto Service & Collision Centre along with their new sister-company Triole Auto Sales were born.
The Future
Next Steps
The businesses continued to grow, building an ever greater reputation and client base so quickly that they outgrew their garage. Plans to redevelop and build a new garage were quickly underway, but a consistently growing client-base would not allow them the time to engage in this pursuit. They patiently waited several years for a property which would match their needs and in 2015 their patience paid off. Triole Automotive Group is now open, offering customers complete collision service, complete auto service, auto sales, part sales and an unparalleled tires department. Their commitment to quality remains unchanged, but new state of the art equipment and facilities allows Triole Automotive Group to serve customers better than ever before. For all your automotive needs it is truly your one-stop-shop.
