2. Damage Analysis
Severe accidents often cannot be analyzed conclusively at first glance, so our in depth damage analysis will provide you with a break down of what will be repaired and/or replaced and the process and expected time that will take. This often involves leaving the vehicle to allow us to disassemble the accident areas and give you and in depth analysis of what will be needed to repair the vehicle.
3. Parts Ordered If Necessary
A date for completion can be given at this time.
4. Body Work and Repair
Depending on the severity of the accident this process differs in time, but here at TAG our top priority is to rejuvenate your vehicle and bring it back up to factory standards as quickly as possible. We can provide you with pictures of the repair process as it progresses or you can come visit us to see for yourself.
5. Preparation For Painting
This typically involves cleaning the exterior of the vehicle and prepping repair areas through a process of extensive sanding and smoothing. The vehicle will be covered and masked to prevent over-spray onto undamaged areas. The first undercoats will then be sprayed which will provide a base for the final painting.
6. Refinish Process
In a dust free and heated spray booth the color coats will be applied. Matching the color is often not simple, but our experience will make the repair nearly invisible. Clear coats will then be applied to finalize the paint process. The damaged areas will then be polished to ensure the texture matches that of the rest of the vehicle.
7. Reassembly
This involves reassembling the vehicle to ensure the repairs are not visible. A full inspection will then be done to ensure every aspect of the repair is up to TAG standards.
8. Final Detailing
The repair is assessed once again and reanalyzed to ensure the vehicle is ready for pick up. It will then be cleaned and a final coat of polish will be applied.
9. Vehicle Completion
The vehicle is now complete and ready for pickup or delivery. At this stage we will walk you through what was repaired and answer any last questions. Payment and warranty documents will then be processed.
